Social Media and Marketing Internship
E-Commerce marketing strategies and a social media plan personally made for Send and Shred during my summer internship at The Millhouse Ventures
Discount Cards to Increase Online Reviews
This strategy was personally designed for Send and Shred to increase the number of positive online reviews. The discount card would ask customers to leave a Facebook review and they would then receive a discount code for 10%Â off

Email Marketing
Email marketing can be quite popular. According to the Digital Marketing Agency, 87% of marketers say email marketing performance is increasing. Generally, over 50% of email marketing is successful if it is personalized! I have created an email subscription option on the Send and Shred web page to allow consumers to hear the latest updates.

Humanizing the Brand

A big marketing point that I wanted to take advantage of was Send and Shred's relationship with the RSPCA. They currently donate 50c per purchase to the RSPCA. Associating Send and Shred with the RSPCA dogs will create a more humanizing atmosphere. (Picture above: Credit to RSPCA).
Feedback availability

Personally emailing customers to allow them to privately share their experience with Send and Shred will increase honest feedback. Including star rating in these emails would allow an average star rating to be paired with products on the website.

Social Media Plan
Social Media is the biggest player when it comes to the game online marketing. Send and Shred was lacking in success of their social media due to little experience and knowledge in the area.Â
I created a descriptive and specific social media plan, personalised to Send and Shred's culture. This social media plan is designed to hit a target audience of households and small businesses as well as people over the age of 30.
